According to the news website, www.oneindia.in, Babajee's family said she was “depressed” after having had an argument with her fiancé prior to the incident.

"But the police have not recovered any suicide note from the house," said the website.

Prior to her death, fashion designer Rohit Verma told The Times of India news website that Babajee "was supposed to take part in his fashion show next month.”

It also said Viveka was "a supermodel” and was “one of the most-sought after faces nationally and internationally in the fashion world."

It isn’t how Filipinos remember her.

Babajee made it to local lore after she got herself embroiled in the infamous 1994 Manila Filmfest Scam.

It was Babajee who uttered the now iconic phrase: “Take it, take it,” referring to an envelope she passed on to actress Ruffa Guiterrez’s brother, Rocky, during the 1994 Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night.

Babajee had just then competed in the Miss Universe pageant and was then staying at the home of the Guiterrezes as a visitor.
