H&M looking to open in South America and Australia

Like me, have you looked on with envy when H&M partnered with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf and most recently Sonia Rykiel? If so, the Swedish high street chain has hope for their Sourthern Hemisphere fans – they are looking to open stores in Brazil and Argentina, and have also “looked at” Australia.
According to a piece in Bloomberg, H&M’s chief executive officier Karl-Johan Persson saud the company is looking to tap into the emerging-market growth in the southern hemisphere – where, the article noted, they don’t have an stores situations south of the equator due to the seasonal differences.
