I'm not sure that I have updated you guys, so I shall do it now: this summer I have a huge event in my calander: my sweet brother is getting married, and to this blog's main photographer, Ariella, nonetheless! I am super excited since, first of all, he is my younger brother (and only brother), It's going to be great celebration with family and friends, and also it gives me a good excuse to get myself a nice quality evening dress. yay!
There is still enough time untill the wedding, but I already started looking for a dress, mainly in the sites of the american department stores such as: Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales (my favorite!), Neiman Marcus, etc. The first dress that really caught my eye was the golden one (first pic on this post) by Nanette Lepore. It has everything I love in a dress and I think this one will particularly fit a petite lady such as myself. It was also seriously marked down during the last sale period, but unfortunately my size was completely sold out. In all online shopping sites. What a bummer!
So I continued searching. I found this cute dress, this DVF design (my mom didn't quite like it as I did) and this sequined one, but none of them looked like the perfect one. And then I laid my eyes on this creation (second pic) by Alexander the great, ahhm, Wang. Absolute perfection but for the retail price of a little more than 800 USD it will keep being perfect and unreachable. And if we are on the subject of unreachable things, I found 3 more dresses which I really wouldn't mind wearing for the big event. But I guess I won't. You can see them all in pic no.3.
