As it continues to sign a host of inspiring designers and brands for its inaugural show, including Peter Jensen, H by Harris, Deryck Walker, Original Penguin, BolOngaro Trevor, Nicholas Deakins, Fenchurch, Farah, Blaqua, Social Suicide, Never Ever, and showing for the first time in the UK Wanabee Society, this dedicated menswear show is set to build on London’s reputation for outstandingly original fashion, offering buyers and brands a clear point of difference on the show calendar.

Original Penguin will be showing its menswear collection exclusively at Stitch. Mark McCann, founder of TBC and now Brand Manager for Original Penguin, says; "Stitch is exactly what the UK needs right now. It is focused on brand and buyer needs and dedicated to menswear fashion only. The show's concept is what the UK has been waiting for; a great platform for delivering new customers and driving orders."

While Godfrey Ampomah, UK Sales Manager at Fenchurch comments; “Here at Fenchurch, we are very excited to be taking part in the first edition of Stitch menswear. It will be a great stage to showcase the collection to the key buyers in the industry as well as celebrate a brand new, and much needed, trade show in London.”

Social Suicide will be showing its incredible handmade tailoring with intricate detailing, beautiful handwork, leather trims and delicate embroidery. Matthew Grey says: “Simon and I are absolutely delighted to find, at last, a menswear show that is not only based in London but also has a distinctly British feel. About time too. Some of the best work in the world has been coming out of this small island and now we can hopefully say the same about our shows.”

New area Vision has taken off with Peter Jensen, Tim Soar, St Paul, Wood Wood, Horace, Deryck Walker and H by Harris all showing. Set to be one of the most exciting collective’s of men’s fashion in the UK, the Vision area, curated by Hywel Davies and overseen by Professor Louise Wilson OBE from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design, will showcase the AW2010 collections from some of the UK and Europe’s most exciting design talent.

Scottish Style Awards 2009 winner Deryck Walker works with iconic hand-woven Harris Tweed fabric with an ultra-slick, dark smartness that takes 1950’s sartorialism and turns it into something quite futuristic. Peter Jensen has carved out a reputation as a designer whose impeccably produced creations thread together mischievous humour and a celebratory approach to individuality. Such an individual, independent approach to fashion has resulted in Jensen being one of the most keenly anticipated, contemporary designers.

And, as a leading light within London’s burgeoning menswear scene, Tim Soar is bringing his minimalist, avant garde and internationalist design aesthetic to Stitch. Accompanying them will be Horace’s nonchalant edgy unisex line of clothing depicting the ordinary but with a vivid sense of imagination, Wood Wood’s urban streetwear fashion, and H by Harris offering a new school in contemporary luggage design.

Vision curator Hywel Davies says; "London is probably the only city that really gives young designers a real platform; a show like Stitch will be a huge contributing factor in developing this. Vision will offer buyers from independents and multiples alike the chance to see these designers’ AW10 collections before anyone else.”

Stitch is set to become the show for independent retailers and multiples looking to source trend-led and established brands, niche labels and designers offering a point of difference. Visitors will find it easy to navigate, explore and identify brands including Original Penguin, Social Suicide, Never Ever, Farah, Roland Garos, BolOngaro Trevor, Nicholas Deakins, Wanabee Society, Fenchurch, Blaqua, Rebel Cashmere, Plain Jane Homme, Rock Revival and King Baby Studio.

Stitch is divided into four sections: DENIM for jeans brands and those in tune with the spirit of denim: EDGE, offering innovative brands that deliver classic or contemporary style: ENERGY for authentic brands inspired by sport, music and performance; and VISION, a showcase of emerging international talent in menswear design.
