Miranda Kerr has Aussie company at Victoria's Secret show

MIRANDA Kerr may have stolen the limelight but two other up-and-coming Australian models yesterday joined the ranks of elite beauties strutting their stuff at the glamorous Victoria's Secret spectacular.

Abbey Lee Kershaw and Sydney model Sarah Stephens were among the 35 catwalk queens chosen to feature in the highly anticipated lingerie extravaganza.

Kershaw, 21, made headlines earlier this year when she fainted as she exited the runway at Alexander McQueen's Paris show after being squeezed into a tight corset.

Stephens, 18, who began her career after winning the 2006 Girlfriend Model Search, is regarded as a rising star on the modelling circuit.

She flew to Miami on the Victoria's Secret private jet with Kerr after finishing filming Solitary Man with Danny DeVito and Michael Douglas.

Having three homegrown models in the fashion calendar's most-viewed runway parade is considered a coup.

Agent Kathy Ward, of Chic Model Management, said the show, which also featured top model Heidi Klum, was a brilliant international showcase for the trio.
