But this past weekend, the pair took over an entire floor of L.A.’s Cooper Building for the introduction of D&A Greenmarket, which featured 50 brands. Said Kramer: “It could easily have been double the size. But the product has to stand on its own as great fashion. The sustainability aspect, to us, is the free gift with purchase.”

Hypernova by Risto Bimbiloski

At a cocktail reception Saturday evening, the chic greenies Angela Lindvall and Adrian Grenier, her co-host on “AlterEco,” a show on the Planet Green channel, checked out the latest collections from familiar names like Edun, Alabama Chanin and Tom’s shoes, as well as new discoveries like Mr. Larkin, a mother-daughter duo from San Francisco who gave their sophisticated separates a romantic flourish with vintage sequins. One of the standouts of the show was the Hypernova collection from Risto Bimbiloski, a former knitwear designer for Louis Vuitton, featuring silk dresses digitally printed with starry images from the Hubble telescope and sewn by women in his native Macedonia.

“It’s not a future,” said a happily exhausted Kramer, “if it’s happening now.”
