"Gosh this takes me back a few years," she laughs, referring to her own brief career as a model. "I did Harmony shampoo ads, loads of shoe modelling because I have such tiny feet and all the car adverts because the tall girls couldn’t fit in the cars. But it was never really going to work because look at me, I’m pint sized."

Even in four-inch Christian Louboutin heels, Doukas cuts a tiny figure.
