Swimwear, trunks, kaftans, sarongs, cotton pants, cover ups, skirts, surf shorts and boardies… In the realm of resort wear fashion, no one can quite compare to the clean detailing and styling of International Lifestyle Designer PJ Arañador's creations. He is set to bring his much-buzzed-about creations (an exuberant mix of modern and functional custom resort wear) to Iloilo with BEACH MOOD, a summer resort wear 2008 forecast fashion show for the benefit of PALWA (Panay Loom Weavers Association) on November 10, 2007 at the SM City car park at 7 p.m.

This summer resort wear fashion show is a breath of fresh air, as most local shows takes the same route---all that's prim and proper. Beach Mood will carry high-impact, high style resort wear statements that the designer applies the same principles to his wardrobe. It's an inspiring formula for people who love style and comfort.

It will feature an evolving selection of casual resort fashion and accessories, anchored by cool, comfortable designer apparel, NAUTILUS, Arañadors' resort wear brand. His bold and brilliant designs became his signature. His dress code for resort wear is colorful and graphic with designs that breathe pure sophistication and with outfits that flatter every shape and curve.

Arañador will also feature accents that will define any individual's personality. Hand prints--- a labour intensive process, the quality of his hand printed fabric is so unique, the colors so rich and beautiful that the designer (one of the very few in the country) is committed to keeping this art alive.

His handbags are designed and handmade. His famous brown palm tree bags are made of beautifully textured, upholstery grade incorporated with local fabrics such as patadyong or hablon or upholstery grade canvas. There is a stiff interlining that holds the shape of the bag. All bags feature large zippers, with most of the handles are made with pure leather.

The allure of Aranador's resort wear fashion shows is in its connotations (sexy, clean, fresh) and its varying degrees of boldness. INVICTUS, a strategic communications and talent/ events management consultancy firm based in Iloilo will translate the designer's latest collections, inspired by beaches on the ramp----and watching it come to life with the country's supermodel Ria Bolivar with models on rise, Manila based Ilonggo models' Jonathan Ozbot, Dimples dela Cruz, Patrick Jamora, Francis Treñas and Iloilo's top fashion mannequins. No doubt, BEACH MOOD as mounted by INVICTUS, is good for Iloilo's fashion industry. Ilonggo talent and creativity deserves attention and recognition.
