Located on the once-sleepy intersection of Melrose Avenue and Melrose Place, the ivy-covered 3,500 square foot store pays homage to by-gone glamour days with touches like fluted Macasa ebony columns and a Bernini chandelier, but also stocks such up-to-the-minute So Cal classics as slip-on Vans and Jacobs-branded surfboards (which have been flying out of the store, thanks to dragged-along boyfriends and style-conscious surfer-girls).
