The fun fashion show will not only feature classy lingerie but also jewelry, skin care products, handbags and other accessories from other vendors.

“It’s for men but it’s about ladies,” said Assistant Manager Diane Sollars. “It’s eye candy shopping.”

The shop is a virtual sweet shop of bras of any type — workout, sports, maternity and more than 20 brands of the daily and/or evening wear brassiere. They even have the Oprah-approved Le Mystere brand and “every kind of panty you could imagine,” added Tina Santoro-Smith, marketing and public relations manager of the two stores.

Customers were driving from as far away as Cape Cod and Manchester, NH to take advantage of that rare commodity, the bra fitting, at the Andover store.

“We’re not here to sell you a bra,” Santoro-Smith said, “we’re here to get you into the right one. You don’t want to feel your bra all day long.”

The women, along with CEO Merit Tukiainen, had been scouting out a second location for the store for more than a year.

“This was it,” Santoro-Smith said. “We are very fortunate to be right next door to Interlocks — [the customers] come in droves.”

The shop is located on Merrimac Street next to Interlocks Salon & Day Spa and across from the Fitness Factory.

Night and Day is also in a cross-marketing agreement with John Farley Clothiers, which explains the mannequin in men’s clothing located adjacent to the cash register.

Although the shop is known far and wide for its bra fittings, they also specialize in control garments.

“For anything you need sucked in, left to right,” Santoro-Smith quipped.

“Or, if you prefer — non-invasive, non-surgical remediation for undergarment challenges,” Sollars said.

They also carry a bevy of tops for special or everyday wear because, Santoro-Smith said, everyone seems to have bottoms but no tops. One top is really good at controlling the “muffin top” — that troublesome bulge between the breasts and waist.

And if that weren’t enough, they are the official bra fitter for radio station Kiss 108.
